Sexism in Saturday Morning Television Advertisements (1971, revised 2021) was produced in 1971 for Marge Nelson’s Sociology class at Antioch College. In this video Rebhan juxtaposes action packed toy commercials aimed at boys with slower paced ads for girls promoting mothering, beauty, and housework. Running time 6:25 minutes.
